IT Security Specialist for IDLC Finance Ltd Full Time

IDLC Finance Limited is looking for a IT Security Specialist who is capable of securing information, networks and systems and is proficient in both deep and hands-on skills in the security landscape. To be successful in this role, an ideal candidate must have a self-motivated, self-taught, dedicated and high-level work ethic IT Security Specialist for IDLC.

Job Details of IT Security Specialist for IDLC:

Job Description and Responsibility:

1. Identify security requirements to ensure security of information, network and systems, and propose appropriate controls/measures.
2. Implement and monitor security controls/measures.
3. Deploy security updates released by OEMs to the systems, network and end user devices.
4. Perform risk assessment and prepare reports as per IT Risk Management Framework.
5. Configure, administer and troubleshoot security devices such as firewall, IPS, IDS.
6. Conduct periodic system and network scans to find vulnerabilities.
7. Conduct penetration testing and simulate attack scenarios to assess effectiveness of existing controls.
8. Perform in-depth investigation of security incidents and prepare reports.
9. Perform periodic audit of IT assets and resources.
10. Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and documentation as per the IT Security Policy.

Academic, Training, and Certification:

1. B.Sc / M.Sc in any discipline, preferably in Computer Science and Engineering/Information System Security, from any reputed university.
2. Certification on information, system or network security would be an added advantage

Experience:

At least 3 years of relevant working experience in IT Security

Skill Set:

1. Excellent knowledge in designing secure network and systems
2. Expertise in firewall, IPS, IDS, end-point security solutions and VAPT tools
3. Excellent knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools
4. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and ability to work in a team
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skill
